On the Ninth Day of Christmas

I knitted for my friend,

A cashmere chemo cap of glory. It’s hard to really think of it as fair to make a gift like this – I feel like I’ve gotten all the fun in getting to touch the yarn all the time when I knitted it. But Becky loved it, she is totally worth it, and that is in fact all that matters. Beautiful 100% cashmere from C*eye*ber fiber (the same as from the “Crap Becky Has Cancer Hat” – that was a big skein), knit on size 4 16″ circulars. Pattern is the Lace trim chemo cap from Knit michigan; a simple and beautiful pattern that I definitely thing I might have occasion to use again.

Things I learned from this project:

1. Cashmere is great.

2. Cashmere is great.

3. All the cashmere in the world should be mine I mean cashmere is great.

    Hello,
I would like to make the chemo hat but the website is not working. Could you please share it with me if you still have the pattern?

    Thanks

Hey Sheila – I can’t seem to find it! I think the website died, and the pattern was on the actual website (not a download), or if it’s a download I didn’t keep it. Sorry 😦 I’ll let you know if I run across it.
