On the Fourth Day of Christmas

I knitted for my pastor:

A black angora scarf and hat. To be super-soft on all occasions and go with preistywear.

Things I learned from this project:

1. 70% angora yarn sheds like a longhaired cat in spring with ringworm. Hopefully this will not be a problem for someone who has to wear all black at work most of the time. Also hopefully he never has to preside over a funeral at which anyone attending is allergic to rabbits. Hindsight is 20/20… Foresight is really really difficult to do well when you’re in a yarn shop in rhode island with a bunch of reasonably priced black angora yarn.

2. The way to alleviate the boredom of a black scarf (See previous post) is NOT to cast on another black scarf.
