‘Till the day I dye

The insanity continues – with the open house coming up in just 8 days, several things still sitting in dyepots, nothing reskeined or tagged, and various administrative crap to carry out, I try to keep working. If for no other reason than if I stop, I start thinking about how much there is left to do. And that’s never a good plan.

A few days ago I dyed about 3 pounds of various yarns. I went from this:

Recycled yarn, mordanting in white vinegar and water.

I’ve been swatching it in my free moments, on the road, in front of movies, in bed. It’s looking gorgeous, and I do hope people come to buy it. If not I will make a really amazing fuscia afghan with lots of different textures.
