Things I learned within the last 24 hours:
1. Bean juice left out for three days makes your kitchen smell like fish.
2. When you’re dyeing one skein two colors with a long-immersion dipping technique… do the lighter color first.
3. The natural tannins in black walnuts decompose as the walnuts rot, turning their dye from deep brown to a sort of ugly grey tan.
I’ve no interesting pictures to show you today (thanks to Christmas and the facts I learned about Black Walnuts), so instead I give you the second composition by the parody team that is R & J Osborn.
