An NFP Theme Song

Things I learned within the last 24 hours:
1. Bean juice left out for three days makes your kitchen smell like fish.
2. When you’re dyeing one skein two colors with a long-immersion dipping technique… do the lighter color first.
3. The natural tannins in black walnuts decompose as the walnuts rot, turning their dye from deep brown to a sort of ugly grey tan.

I’ve no interesting pictures to show you today (thanks to Christmas and the facts I learned about Black Walnuts), so instead I give you the second composition by the parody team that is R & J Osborn.

“A Theme for NFP”, to the tune of “Love and Marriage”.

Sex and babies, sex and babies
They go together; there’s no ifs or maybes
Catholic Popes will tell ya
That contraception will expel ya.
Sex and babies, sex and babies
They go together like racoons and rabies
Quiverfulls agree now
There is no better way to be now.

Try, try, try to separate them
It’s inconvenient.
Try, try, try, but do remember what
Happened to Onan.

Sex and babies, sex and babies
They go together; there’s no ifs or maybes
God has made us fertile
So keep that condom off your turtle.
