Unexpected Turn

After brutally hard work, sacrifice and suffering, I’ve achieved Olympic Gold!

Done and Done.

Okay, so this wasn’t exactly the Olympic triumph i was hoping for. But, this is the first time I’ve felted anything, and it’s also the first time I’ve made shoes of any kind, or any adult footwear at all aside from socks. And what with all the really obscure statistics the commentators like to bring up (i.e. “If X skier wins a gold medal in this event, he’ll have won more gold medals in downhill skiing than any other Eastern European!) I feel totally justified.

Because no, my beads haven’t arrived yet. I’m not willing to throw in the towel yet, but if they don’t get here by tomorrow afternoon, the last chance for success in my big event will be slipping away. Come on, postal service! Don’t dash my dreams!

    Awesome!
If I wear the first pair, click my heels three times, and say “There’s no place like home” will things magically happen?

YES! Everything will turn black and white and you will own a small yorkie.
